Best Dressed Experts at the Female Speaker Conference 2019

By 26 November 2019 Style for Speakers

It was that time of year again when national and international female speakers met in London to learn, inspire, and recognise each other for their business achievements. Here are my three best dressed experts who spoke at the Female Speaker Conference 2019.

Annik PetrouSpeaker Express

You think I’m biased because Annik worked with me on her style a few years ago, and has become a great friend and support ever since! But on this occasion we didn’t discuss the outfit in advance. So, you can imagine how pleased I was to see her in a bright and vibrant spring green dress, stunning hair and coral pink heels.

The colour suited her perfectly, the shape of the dress gave her structure through the stiffer fabric and the touch of coral pink added interest and individuality. I was so glad Annik (finally!) chose to embrace her spring pallet and rock the lime green on stage. I’m so proud of her!

Annik wore:

  • Dress: Vince Camuto
  • Necklace: Rachel Jackson London
  • Shoes: Hush Puppies

Karen Witchalls-PunkettPerfect Match Presenters

Do you ever come across women at an event that somehow appear elevated from the rest? That’s how I felt about Karen when I noticed her in the audience. I could tell she knew what she was doing, her colour choices complimented her and each other beautifully.

It was only after she shared her insights on the Speaker Booker panel that we got chatting: Of course she had her colours done and of course she works with a stylist: the stunning Rachel Kepinska-Smith of House of Colour. It just goes to show what a difference it makes when you get professional help and you choose carefully what you wear. Definitely thumbs up from me for her red jumpsuit, cream blazer and silk scarf in warm spring tones.

Karen wore:

  • Jumpsuit: Mango
  • Jacket: Ted Baker
  • Silk Scarf: Oliver Bonas
  • Shoes: Dune

Amy McManusAM Marketing

Brilliant content, engaging delivery, fabulous outfit! Did Amy‘s talk feel like a superhero coming to rescue us from ignorance about YouTube advertising? Yes! Did her cape help? Absolutely.

Amy’s look clearly aligned with her message: young, fresh, trendy, authentic and a little edgy. She combined classic fabrics and straight lines with interesting shapes: a cropped black top, a high waisted pair of black paperbag trousers, and said cape gave her height and gravitas. Did you notice the column of colour here? Pink trainers and her signature undercut hairstyle finished off the look. Nicely done Amy!

Amy wore:

  • Trousers and Crop Top: Primark
  • Cape Blazer: Boohoo
  • Shoes: Vans
  • Watch: TagH
  • Pearl Bracelet: Thomas Sabo
